Effective Communication: Definition and Process


After consulting various sources could come to define effective communication as communication that through good communication skills and ways, achieves the purpose of what you want transmit or receive. Effective communication within the transmitter and receiver code so there is a message that is exchanged. In other words you both understand the message conveyed. Within

effective communication processes different elements of communication should take into account certain characteristics.
1. The transmitter must establish credibility, you must know the subject, know who and how to deliver the message to avoid misunderstandings.
2. The message must display intellectual components (language that helps us understand and reason), and emotional components (emotions and feelings explain our feelings about the message.)
3. The receiver must listen and understand the message to respond effectively to the situation.

Not all are excellent communicators and not follow the processes set forth herein. But with some key points and the interest you get down to communication situations can perform these processes effectively. References
